Theme
The theme of the vernissage and exhibition is our beloved Montreal. You can take photographs of the architecture, the people, the events, and the scenery to tell us your story and affairs with this city. Pick up your camera to record the moments and memories. It can be individual images or a series of images. It is all up to you how to offer us your perspective of what Montreal is to you and means to you. You are certainly welcome to think creatively!

However, please note that digital modification can only be used to restore/enhance the beauty of the photographic works, no additional digital manipulations should be added to your submissions (particularly for news photography) to alter the physical content unless it is for the purpose of artistic recreation. The selected photographers will be featured on this website along with their photographic works.
Dimension
You can print your photos in many sizes, but for the vernissage/exhibitions, we will restrict the printing size to be
Frame sizes: From 8.5 x 11 to 11 x 17 in
Smallest photo size allowed: 5 x 7 in
Consent Form
Please note that to exhibit portrait works with clear faces publicly, the photographers need to obtain consent from the models. This is particularly important if the photographers wish to sell their portrait photographs. Street photography will not necessarily require consent form from the subjects in the photos, but the legal issues associated with profiting from this type of photography should be dealt with by the photographer himself/herself alone.
